Melt & Pour base

For those who prefer a totally effortless base for their craft projects, Melt & Pour bases are the easiest choice.
Melt & Pour base is also called glycerin base or glycerine blocks and it is industrially made by blending alcohol, sugars and glycerine (often of animal origin) with a saponified fatty acid base. Although this is not true soap, nor it is a natural product, it can be used to easily obtain "soap bars" with interesting visual effects.
Our Melt & Pour base is the best we have been able to find and, while it does not stand up to comparison with our natural glycerin soap base in terms of skin-friendliness and naturality, it has a nice, rich lather and is relatively gentle on the skin.
If your aim is to obtain pretty looking soaps, with interesting transparency and colour effects, this Melt & Pour base is for you.
