AS102 Emulsifying compound

A brand new concept that beats any petrochemical "e-wax", both in performance and in skin-friendliness, AS102 is a vegetable derived, complete emulsifying system free of sulfates or ethoxylathed substances.
Average usage ratio for creams is around 4%, with a minimum of 2% (lotions) to a maximum of 8% (heavy creams).
No co-emulsifiers, stabilisers or viscosity controllers are needed.

Cetearyl alcohol

Vegetable derived emollient and co-emulsifier, particularly suitable for hair conditioners and other hair care formulations.

Cosmetic grade silicone is used in creams and lotion to enhance "glide" and provide emollient qualities.

Glyceryl Stearate SE

Also called GMS, glyceryl stearate or glycerol stearate. SE stands for "self emulsifying". Glyceryl Monostearate SE can be used in creams and lotions on its own, or together with co-emulsifiers, and is also used as viscosity controller in anhydrous (waterless) applications, such as salves and body butters. Vegetable derived, Kosher certified.

Sodium lactate, 60% aqueous solution

Used as emollient and humectant, Sodium lactate effectively replaces glycerin in creams and lotions.
