AS102 Emulsifying compound (vegetable emulsifier, e-wax)
AS102 Emulsifying Compound was developed by AquaSapone to address the requirements of as natural as possible skin care product manufacturers. AS102 is a complete self-emulsifying system (sometimes referred to as e-wax) that embodies a new and purer approach to the development of handmade skin and hair care products. This proprietary blend is formulated from non-ethoxylated, sulfate free emulsifiers, emollients and stabilisers, as naturally as possible derived from vegetable sources.
Ease of use, efficient emulsifying power, superior stability even in extreme situations, high compatibility with skin-friendly ingredients, broad pH utility and predictable viscosity/concentration behaviour make AS102 Emulsifying Compound the best choice for any O/W (oil-in-water) and W/O (water-in-oil) emulsions and emulsion-based skin care applications, including lotions, vanishing creams and hair conditioners.
AS102 Emulsifying Compound is extremely mild, non irritating and, mimicking the skin's natural lipid barriers, particularly suited for leave-on applications for daily use. In the finished products, it imparts an unparalleled silky, smooth and "slick" feel that greatly increases the consumer appeal of your creations.
Average usage ratio for creams is around 4%, with a minimum of 2% (lotions) to a maximum of 8% (heavy creams). No co-emulsifiers, stabilisers or viscosity controllers are needed. Full product details and usage instructions are provided with each order.
